I Voted Today
I voted today, Tuesday, September 23rd! It's time to vote..even now the lines are long. But not nearly as long as they will be on November 4th. If you have an issue with lines, I suggest you vote NOW! Early voting can be done in Atlanta through the 24th of October. Take the Pledge and vote NOW! And let's spend the remainder of the time getting people registered and encouraging them to vote.

Beware Absentee Ballots
The story is all over Progressive Talk Radio today about the McCain campaign sending absentee ballot applications to registered democrats or people that have donated to Obama's campaign. Vote Early!
Track your progress: How many people have you encouraged to get registered to vote and to vote? How many people have you encouraged to take the pledge and join the Million Voter Pledge Campaign Network? Let's keep track...so that on election day we can tally how many people we collectively mobilized to the polls. This will be a powerful showing of how Community (Grass Roots) Organizers impact election results!

The dates for early voting will be Monday October 27th- Friday October31st from 8:30am-7:00pm
Here are 5 of the 7 Early Voting sites in the Metro Atlanta area (2 are located further north of Atlanta ):

Find out and post the early voting places in your city, so we all know where to vote no matter what part of the country we live in.
If we all vote early, then on election day, we can be available to transport others to the polls.
I was so glad to see you my sister sharing in the support of another great cause with me. I am not only asking my congregation but also my family and friends to support us in the 200 million plus voters pledge. I know that if 1 can chase a thousand and 2 ten thousand, amagine what we are going to do!
