I was introduced to voting, when i voted for President Jimmy Carter in 1976. We forever shall rally the battle cry, Black folks Vote or watch the Dream die!
Are you committed to voting and getting at least 5 others to vote?
I am proud to say that I have memberships in seven organizations which all are holding Voter Registration specials in and around Georgia and other states.
Will you commit to getting at least one person a day to join the MVP Network?

VOTERS GIVEN OPPORTUNITY TO PROTECT
AND DEFEND THE VOTE
With margins of victory razor-thin in past presidential, congressional, state, and local elections, Advancement Project, a national civil rights group, wants voters to know they have the ability to tip the balance in favor of electing officials who care about and address their concerns. To make sure every vote counts in this upcoming election season, Advancement Project launched today a new online voter engagement campaign Just Vote '08. Via various social networking site-BlackPlanet, Facebook, MiGente, and My Space, and Change.org - and www. justvote08.org voters can:
Check the voter registration deadlines and registration efforts in their area;
Get voter protection alerts sent via text message to their cell phones;
Verify that they made it on to the voting rolls after they have registered, if not they will be able to contact Advancement Project for assistance;
Recognize the new face of voter suppression and report to Advancement Project election practices and bureaucratic hurdles that determine who votes and how votes are counted--such as the location of election district boundaries, long lines at urban polling places, and English-only ballots;
Can be on the frontline of our democracy by becoming a poll worker;
Verify their polling place location;
Can find out what their rights are and what they need to bring when they go to the polls on Election Day; and
Ask voting law experts-"Dr. Vote" any questions they may have and receive real time answers.
"Attaining a truly inclusive democracy requires multiple strategies and, as such, Advancement Project believes utilizing social networking sites and new media tools is an interesting and educational approach to helping voters understand what's at stake during on election day," said Sabrina E. Williams, communications director, Advancement Project. "We are asking voters to join us 'in the trenches' in the fight to protect their voting rights."
Advancement Project's new online campaign complements its Voter Protection Program, which strives to ensure the administration of elections does not intentionally or accidentally deprive eligible Americans of the ability to vote and the right to have that vote accurately counted.

Hello Roberta,
thank you for your welcome. If you promise to work on all of the Johnson's that you are related to and aware of there is little doubt we are all related. LOL either by blood spirit, or destiny.
As we journey on this voyage of reuniting the Dream with the Dreamer I look forward to chatting and meeting you and your families. The story goes that amongst Douglass and Bailey Frederick used Johnson as a sur name as well!
Pledging my usefulness and execution of will I await your message~
Hi Keith, welcome to the MVP movement. I know that Johnson is a wonderful name. Imagine what it would be if we got all of the Johnson's that we know to take the pledge. I'm from Philly with relatives in Brooklyn New York and Somerville NJ. Are we related?
